In case you’ve been lost at sea for the past year, this is the man from New Jersey who has Planned Parenthood and the National Education Association gnashing their teeth in impotent rage. I never thought I would use this phrase, but for reasons outlined in my earlier post, I Hate New Jersey, nothing else will suffice: This guy is a Rock Star.

You can see why bloggers are calling this stuff “Christie Porn.” I defy anyone to watch it and not yield to a few moments of guilty fantasy. Christie versus Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Christie versus big corrupt unions. Christie versus thuggish Third World despots who take our aid and then kick us in the shins. I would include Christie versus Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, if they weren’t going to be rendered irrelevant in November anyway.
Then again, maybe it isn’t just a fantasy. 2012 is around the corner, and we’re going to need some strong, resolute leadership to pull us out of the mire.
I am amzed the press hasn't at least attempted to "Palin-ize" or "Cheney-ize" him yet. I think a year ago if he presented himself on the national stage in this way they would have attacked without cause or mercy.
The fact that they haven't tells me that the media, like the Democrats are (not changing) being careful not to draw the ire of a growing conservative movement.
At last, maybe there is hope.
