Look at the expression on the taxi driver’s face. I love it! Probably because of a special someone I know who would do that exact same thing. Come to think of it, you can say that about almost all of Rockwell’s picture stories, can’t you? This was on the cover of the Saturday Evening Post on August 11, 1945, just days before Victory in Japan and the end of World War II.
